The Gusmer-Decker RIM Spray™ Mixing Head is designed specifically for automated spraying of polyurethane in RIM applications. It greatly increases efficiency in open spray situations.
RIM Spray answers the automotive, transportation and marine markets' demand for an alternative to vinyl used in seats, instrument panels and similar products.

- Includes mechanical purge, hydraulic piston actuation, internal re-circulation, and air-assist nozzle design
Utilizes in-line, impinge mix Pocket Head technology, providing mechanical self-cleaning and adjustable needle/ orifice cartridge
Recirculation and dispense pressure is controlled by the replaceable hardened orifices
Elastomer seals on mix piston
- Eliminates need to "foam" in head to create seal
- No crossover on start up
- Handles foams or elastomers
- Fan spray pattern provides broad coverage of foam or elastomer substrate
- Mechanical purge of chamber eliminates solvents and handling of purged materials
- 90 degree tip index allows vertical or horizontal fan pattern - allows flexibility in mounting the mixing head

Carbide option available
The RIM Spray Carbide mixing head option is available for applications that require abrasive fillers.
- Same as RIM Spray mixing head, but includes carbide inserts on mix piston and orifices for increased mixhead life
- Designed for filled rigid or flexible urethanes

- Provides very high output
- Rapidly coats substrates with uniform coverage
- Up to 56 in wide pattern (requires Carbide option)
